St. Ignatius of Loyola developed the Spiritual Exercises to help people to grow in their relationship with God and learn to listen for the voice of the Holy Spirit in their lives. Ignatius explained that, just as we improve our bodily health through disciplined bodily exercises, we can improve our spiritual health through a disciplined approach called Spiritual Exercises. Fr. Mike will facilitate a 9-week program following a format that Ignatius called “Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life.”

Sessions will be on Tuesday evenings from 7pm-8:30pm. To ensure that all participants benefit fully from this experience, pre-registration is required and will be limited to approximately 30 attendees. However, before you register, please read the following to determine if the Exercises are right for you.
Participants must be open to a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationship with God. Throughout the 9 weeks, participants will examine their consciences, meditate, contemplate, and pray at least an hour each day. The material, particularly at the beginning, can be very challenging. Participants must commit to attending weekly sessions, praying daily as directed, and sharing their experience with others.
Please register below or contact Fr. Mike if you should have any questions at: mrizzo@stedward.com
