As advent approaches, our Faith In Action Ministry offers our parish an opportunity for reflection and preparation through recognizing, giving and serving our brothers and sisters in need. As we examine our spiritual practices of giving and of how we reach out to those in need, our focus this year will be on providing the following organizations with financial support for each of them to continue their important mission in our community.
Each week of advent St. Edward’s will feature and support a different organization where we can reach out to others. We ask you to generously support ALL of these charities as a group. Each week a representative from one of the organizations will be available after Masses to answer any questions you may have.
Con la llegada del Adviento, nuestro Ministerio de Fe en Acción nos ofrece a nuestra parroquia una oportunidad para la reflexión y la preparación a través del reconocimiento, la generosidad y el servicio a nuestros hermanos más necesitados. Al examinar nuestras prácticas espirituales de generosidad y cómo ayudamos a los necesitados, este año nos centraremos en brindar apoyo financiero a las siguientes organizaciones para que puedan continuar su importante misión en nuestra comunidad.
Cada semana de Adviento, la parroquia de San Eduardo destacará y apoyará a una organización diferente con la que podamos ayudar a los demás. Les pedimos que apoyen generosamente a todas estas organizaciones benéficas en conjunto. Cada semana, un representante de una de las organizaciones estará disponible después de las misas para responder a sus preguntas.
