Dear St. Edward the Confessor Parents:

After careful review of our summer school program, the decision has been made to postpone offering summer school for 2010 school year only.  The decision was based on a careful analysis of declining enrollment over the past three years in our current summer school program.  It is our intent to review the program over the next several months and to present a new summer school program to the school community the summer of 2011.

To help those students who need reinforcement over the summer, we will be offering a summer bridge series that you and your child may complete over the summer.  This will help your child reinforce concepts taught and presented this past school year.

Please see the attached book order form on how to purchase the book(s).  Simply fill out the form, attach a check and drop off at the school front desk.  Books will be ordered and available to you in June.  Additionally, we have received information from UCI about a summer program that is available.  Please see the attached information sheet.  The deadline for turning in orders for the summer bridge books is May 15, 2010. 

We will do our homework and research other summer school programs so that we can offer a summer program that is attractive to all of our students.
